Ivanhoe Electric Inc. is an international mineral exploration company focused on discovering “electric metal” mining assets. Ivanhoe Electric’s Santa Cruz project site office in Casa Grande, Arizona requires an experienced, team orientated individual to join our team. The right individual would be reporting to US Operations Manager. Providing technical support to daily operations to ensure safety and efficiency. Perform regular maintenances of production facilities. Implement process improvements to improve production safety and quality. Work in compliance with safety and environmental standards. Promote production safety by enforcing security procedures and hazardous controls. Attend to equipment repairs and problems promptly. Perform routine inspections to identify any malfunctions and replacements. Monitor production operations to identify dangerous and hazardous conditions. Maintain the work area. Analyze and diagnose production problems in a timely manner. Report the need of production maintenance and repair works.
• Assist the staff with housekeeping at the varying warehouses.
• Inventory of various properties supplies.
• Update checklists.
• Assist with organizing and putting away of orders.
• Pick up supplies from various locations in Casa Grande.
• Ability to build, move and assist with core and maintenance of various items in a warehouse setting.
• Other duties as assigned.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to problem solve.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
• High level of attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
• Solid understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong work ethic with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, climbing, kneeling, standing, walking on uneven surfaces, pushing, pulling and lifting.
• Valid driver’s license.
